Packing & Organization Essentials
Compression Packing Cubes– These aren’t just regular packing cubes. You can fit so much more in your suitcase with these compression packing cubes. First Roll your clothes, then stuff them in while expanded. Finally squish and compress them with the 2 zipper system and save so much room! Plus it’s easy to organize your outfits into categories making it easy to find what you need instead of digging around.
Toiletry Bag– I like that this one can hang on the back of the door. Plus it fits full size items and has lots of pockets.
Make Up Bag- THIS one has adjustable dividers and lots of pockets! THIS one is a drawstring style that easily unfolds to show all your products
Jewelry Organizer– Your necklaces won’t get tangles and your earrings won’t get lost. There is a place for everything in this cute little clutch! Or if you don’t plan on bringing a lot, try the smaller version!
Watch Case– If you are a watch person, you invest in your style and you want it protected. Protect your watches with this case.
Underwear Case– keep your bras uncrushed and your panties organized!
Sunglasses Case– This one holds 5 pairs of sunglasses (or regular glasses) in an uncrushable case to protect them!
Travel documents case– Keep your boarding passes, passport, and any other important papers/cards handy in this cute organizer
This would also be the section where you pack your headphones or air pods, your ipad, kindle, phone, laptop etc. But since I think the best ones are super expensive and not found on Amazon I didn’t include them.
Cord Organizer-Keep your chargers, cords, sim cards, and portable power banks organized and safe with a waterproof and pressure proof case. This one is a bit bigger if you have lots of electronics and chargers to bring.
Powerbank– You need your phone for everything these days. Music & movies to keep you entertained while you travel, directions, boarding passes, communication, camera, translator, credit cards and more. You don’t want to be stranded with a dead phone and no way to charge it! This one also doubles as a flashlight.
Universal adaptor If traveling to other countries, your electronic plugs may not work. This universal adaptor means you will be able to plug in anywhere without blowing a fuse or shorting your electronics!
Power/extension cord I always find that there are never enough outlets! You want to make sure everything is charged before you go on an adventure! Everyone can charge at the same time and reach hard to reach outlets!
Bluetooth speaker Take the tunes anywhere and save space in your bag!
Travel Scale– Never wonder if you’re over the weight limit again! Buy all the souvenirs you want and make sure you don’t pay for overage fees!
Lazy Phone Holder and Phone Gripper– Hands free phone watching, perfect for a movie on a long trip!
Travel Kitchen Accessories
Enjoy some of the comforts of home while on the road. If you’re in a place that doesn’t have a lot of amenities (like a hostel or camping that doesn’t mean you have to only eat takeout! I really like these portable versions that fold up tiny.
Travel Kettle means you can enjoy tea, hot chocolate, or instant coffee on the go! I am a monster in the morning before my coffee and in a new city you may not know where the best coffee shops are. I bring some instant coffee packs and a kettle and I’m set!
Collapsible Wash Basin means even if you don’t have a large sink you can soak stains in clothes or wash dishes easily.
Collapsible Tupperware makes packing snacks a breeze. After you’re done with the food, simply fold up for more space!
Collapsible Hot Pot– This is like a mini crock pot that folds up super duper small! Enjoy hot meals while travelling!!
Travel Cutlery Set– Packing your own snacks saves so much money! Plus you reduce plastic waste if you don’t use disposable utensils
Lotions & Liquids
Squeeze bottles These are great because you can get out every last drop of your precious lotions, shampoos, conditioners, etc. Normal travel containers are super rigid and you waste product!
Multi bottle You can house 4 types of liquids in one pump container.
Perfume ionizers pump your favorite perfume into their container and allow you to spray them on the go! No more packing a full perfume bottle or worrying about broken glass!
Keep your valuables hidden and safe from pick pocketers!
Fanny Pack– I am so glad these are back in style!
Waist Band– Tuck it underneath your shirt or sweater to hide your money, phone or travel documents
Scrunchie with Hidden Pocket– This pocket is small, but no one will ever find it! Perfect for cash, lip chap, a USB stick, a key etc.
Scarf with Hidden Pocket– Keep you warm and hide your valuables!
Money belt– Tuck your money away in a safe space
Travel in Comfort
Make your travel a little more bearable especially on an airplane. I also suggest dressing in comfortable layers and wearing a blanket scarf because airplanes are either boiling hot or freezing cold and you want to be able to adjust as needed.
Hanging Foot Rest– This is genius! Even though you don’t have a lot of leg room, this props your legs up to a more comfortable angle
Inflatable Foot Rest– This is perfect for kids or people with short legs. Makes it so kids can even lie down on an airplane seat
Neck Pillow with Massager– It looks like a normal neck pillow but with massage features!!
Scarf Neck Pillow– This one is interesting because it’s basically a neck scarf with one side hard so you have a place to rest your head.
Infinity Neck Pillow– It bends and twists so you can adjust the shape for what works for your needs.
Portable Fan– Keep it in your purse or carryon and never worry about getting too hot again!
Compression socks– Your feet will swell on an airplane or long car rides. Compression socks help with circulation and prevent swollen feet!
Bluetooth Sleep Mask– It has a reinforced eye area so it won’t ruin your makeup. Plus it’s noise cancelling and blue tooth enabled. Get better sleep while you travel and fight off jet lag!
Portable Stool– Sometimes you just have to sit down and there’s no open seats. This stool folds up super compact and will come in handy!
I think this category is often overlooked, but so sooo important! Keep yourself and your valuables safe.
Luggage Lock– Keep your luggage secure with this TSA approved lock.
Hotel Door Lock/Alarm/Bar/Door Jam – These products help you secure your hotel/hostel/air bnb room when travelling. Keep your door from being able to be opened and an alarm in case it does get opened!
Luggage Tags– This is a little less about safety and a little more about being able to recognize your luggage at a glance. Don’t let it go around the carousel and risk someone else mistaking it for theirs!
Key Chain Alarm– You can’t bring a weapon on an airplane, but you can bring a personal alarm. It makes a super loud noise to scare off attackers and attract attention.
Travel Safe– It’s small, but it’s great for keeping important documents and cash safe. Simply hook it up to a non-moveable object and set the code.
Beauty & Health
In this category I also like to include vitamins and probiotic pills. Your digestion and diet usually take a hit while travelling, but you can still keep yourself healthy and regular. I also include things like sunscreen, sheet face masks, and dry shampoo for the plane ride.
Curling Wand – interchangeable heads means you can switch up your look without taking up a ton of space!
Flat Iron– This thin one doesn’t take up much space. If I am really trying to pack light, I only take a flat iron and learned how to curl and straighten my hair with it.
Travel Blow Dryer– It folds up tiny, but packs a punch of power!
LED Mirror– It folds up flat, but has an LED light and magnifying compact. Do your makeup in awful hotel lighting (or anywhere!)
Face Mister– Airplanes are notorious for dry air. Or if you’re travelling somewhere hot and dry this is a dream! Keep your skin hydrated with this facial mister.
Collapsible water bottle– We all know how important it is to stay hydrated, especially on airplanes. This one folds up when it’s empty so it doesn’t take up too much room! If you are flying, keep it empty until you pass through security and fill it up on the other side.
Soap Sheets– Say goodbye to nasty airport/gas station soap forever! Just grab a small sheet and soap up!
Sanitizing Toothbrush Cap– Protect the bristles from hair/dust and sanitize with UV light. Dental hygiene is important especially when you travel!
Travel Razor– Usually available at the drugstore, there are even waterless travel razors! Compact and unlikely to break in your bag.
Tiny USB Humidifier– This little humidifier is so cute! Plus it runs on USB so your phone charger wall block can do double duty
Miscellaneous & Laundry
Travel Towel or Sand Proof Towel– If you are travelling somewhere with a beach I like to bring a thin towel instead of just stealing hotel towels.
Waterproof Phone Case– So simple, but genius! Keep you phone handy (and still be able to use it!) but keep it dry. Great for at the beach or on a boat.
Travel Steamer– So remember how you rolled and stuffed all your clothes into those compact packing cubes? Well now you need this powerful travel steamer to wear them without wrinkles!!
Bungee Luggage Strap–Attach your bag to your rolling luggage with this bungee cord. It secures the bag to the handle securely so it won’t slip off
Disposable Travel Covers – This set comes with covers for your airplane seat, tray table, and toilet seat covers! Even with enhanced COVID cleaning protocols and Lysol wipes, there are still germs all over airplanes. This is also great for people that have severe allergies and don’t want to risk any cross contamination.
Tiny Travel Umbrella– Folds up smaller than your iPhone!
Travel Clothesline and Foldable Hangers– If you plan on doing any laundry or hanging up a bathing suit to dry, you need these tiny hangers and clothesline.
Laundry Bag– This is something I always seem to forget! Keep your dirty clothes separate from your clean ones without just throwing them in a pile on the floor
